This home battery set includes a smart inverter "hub" and two 5.2 kWh batteries; a total capacity of 10.44 kWh. This set can be expanded to a maximum of 3 batteries per inverter for a total capacity of 15.6 kWh. The inverter has a power output of 2,400 W (peak load of 4,800 W) via the integrated socket, sufficient for connecting a washing machine or dryer. The inverter can feed back 800 W via the plug as standard, and as much as 2,400 W if that socket is connected to a completely separate circuit.
To measure the home's energy consumption and prevent automatic feeding back into the grid, an energy meter can be connected. The Lunergy Hub supports the Lunergy P1 meter, but is also compatible with P1 energy meters from Homewizard, Shelly, Tibber, and Home Assistant. Lunergy has also made local communication via the ModBus port available for the true home automation do-it-yourselfer.
